QUALIFICATIONS

1.      What are your strongest qualifications for this position?

Ansley (D) Troxler (R)
I hold a B.S.(NCSU) and a M.S. (Clemson) Degree in Ag. Education and a law degree.  I presently serve as the National President of the FFA (Future Farmers) Alumni.  I will address issues such as Food Safety, boosting  the N.C. Economy through strengthening ag sales and marketing, high paying Careers in Ag, and Bio-fuels & Sustainable, Renewable Energy Soures to make us Energy Independent.

I believe my strongest qualification for the office of Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services is the fact that I have been a practicing farmer for more than three decades. I've also been involved in positions of agricultural leadership. For these reasons  I can relate to the problems faced by North Carolina farmers, and help to alleviate those problems.
