October 10, 2007 - Asheville (Repeat for those who couldn't go last year)
Time:
8:30 AM depart from Wal-Mart Parking lot (carpool)
Visit Thomas Wolfe House, take Trolley Tour, have lunch on own in Downtown Asheville
3:45 PM back in Brevard
Cost: $23, includes admission to Wolfe House, Trolley fare and gas money.

Nov. 14, 2007 - Columbia SC Museum of Art guided tour
Time: 7:30 AM
Place: Connestee Falls Parking Lot (near waterfall)
Cost: $20 includes admission, docent and gas money
We will have lunch on our own and visit the State Capital as well.

Nov. 10, 2007 - Members are reminded of the annual Van Wingerden Open House of their Poinsettia greenhouses. The greenhouses are located near the intersection of Rts 280 and 191 in Mills River. Easiest to find is on the west side of rt 191 going toward Hendersonville. They will supply maps directing you to the other green houses. There is usually free coffee, doughnuts and oj provided and a free plant give-away at the Jeffries Rd greenhouse.
